New York Yankees..... Joe DiMaggio Very Rare 1938 "Our National Game Pinback" complete with its original mounting card. The Yankee Clipper is pictured on this litho baseball tag from 1938. DiMaggio is one of the all-time baseball greats and was a Yankee fixture for many years. This litho tab with original card was part of a set made in the late 1930s that featured famous baseball players. DiMaggio was one of the most popular and this tab always is in high demand. Still attached to its original card and one of the best Joe DiMaggio collectibles to find.. These 7/8 pins that were catalogued by the ACC (American Card Catalog) with a designation of PM8 were issued 70-years ago featuring 30 of the games top stars. There was a find of these some twenty plus years ago and even then, high grade examples were tough because of the way they were manufactured (thru the lithograph process where the inks were printed directly on the metal tin making them highly susceptible to scratches).
